Sneak Peek: 2019 Honda Passport

The all-new 2019 Honda Passport is getting ready to take you on a journey! This two-row mid-size crossover SUV was designed to help you explore the outdoors, either near Poughkeepsie or somewhere out in the wilderness. Keep an eye out for more details early next year so you can visit us at Friendly Honda and create your very own adventure.

The 2019 Honda Passport is operated by a 3.5L i-VTEC® V-6 engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission. This utility vehicle is powered with 280-hp and 262 lb.-ft. of torque and offers a smooth ride with its 4-wheel independent suspension. This is the same engine offered in the Pilot, but with two-rows instead of three, the Passport will likely weigh less, so it’s sure to have strong acceleration. The Passport will be offered in 5 different trims: Sport, EX, EX-L, Touring and Elite. The Sport trim comes with FWD which can tow 3,500 pounds. If you opt for the AWD package available in the higher trims, your towing package increases the limit to 5,000 pounds. Along with the extra towing capacity with the AWD, both Mud and Sand modes will be added to the standard Snow mode.

When you are creating new memories, the optional 8.0-inch touchscreen with available Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration is key. The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation system, standard in Touring trim, will guide you on new roads while listening to your favorite music through the 215-watt, 6-speaker audio system.

Convenience is essential when you want to take a spur-of-the-moment trip. The new 2019 Honda Passport comes standard with full-LED exterior lighting, push-button start, and keyless entry. You and your passengers will stay comfortable wherever your Passport takes you with its three-zone climate control and one-touch fold-down 60/40 split rear seatback. Other options to add to your adventures include a moonroof, trailer hitch, front and rear underbody spoilers, roof rails, second sun shades, and wireless phone charging.

The launch of the 2019 Honda Passport can’t come soon enough!
